MCEC announces new Deputy Chief Executive

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre's (MCEC) Chief Executive Leigh Harry today announced the appointment of the Deputy Chief Executive of the MCEC Leighton wood.

Starting at MCEC on November 8, 2010, Leighton will provide strategic support high level, Chief Executive, in particular in the areas of future business planning and ongoing organizational improvement.

Institutions such as the next stage of the Exhibition Centre announced 29 October 2010 by the Victorian Labor Government special responsibility for the planned expansion of MCEC's Deputy Chief Executive on Friday.

Leighton has extensive experience in the senior chief executive roles with various organisations including Melbourne Commonwealth Games (M2006), Melbourne major events company in sports knowledge and the Princess Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
